The Society of the Missionaries of the Holy Apostles (MSA) was founded by Father Menard and Mr. Hector Durand. The MSA is a Society of Apostolic Life with Pontifical Right composed of priests and brothers. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, our primary charism is to promote, form and accompany youths and adults in their vocation to the priesthood and to other ministries in the Church.
Members of the MSA live in community whenever possible. Currently we have two local communities in the United States Province.
- The Cromwell community is primarily focused on ministries at Holy Apostles College and Seminary.
- The Washington D.C. community serves as hospital chaplains and in a variety of ministries supporting local parishes.
Members also serve at seminaries, retreat centers, and parishes throughout the United States.
The Society is international in nature and also has a province in Canada and delegations in Africa, Peru, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Members of the MSA are able to work in all geographic areas for the Society.
The Animator General for the MSA's is the Very Rev. Isaac-C. Martinez-Chuquizana, M.S.A.
